Jill - Insurance Specialist
Jill joined Periu Family Dentistry over 5 years ago but has been in the dental field for over 24 years. Her knowledge in dentistry spans both clinical and administrative skills with emphasis on insurances. She loves helping patients navigate and understand their insurance plans. Jill enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, LOVES the beach and visiting art museums. In her spare time, she likes to search for ocean treasures and go fishing.
Sonia - Scheduling Coordinator
Sonia joined our office in 2024. She has worked in dentistry as a lab technician for 40 years. Her love of dentistry brought her to a position change and wanted to work with people on a one-on-one basis to build personal relationships. Her position helps her fulfill her passion for helping others achieve their best smile. In her free time, Sonia loves nursing plants back to health and spending time with family.
Denise - Treatment Coordinator
Denise is our newest member to Periu Family Dentistry. She has over 15 years of experience helping patients understand their recommended dental treatments, financial options, and scheduling needs. Her goal is to provide clarity, support, and a positive experience throughout your care. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family.
Nina - Registered Dental Hygienist
Nina was born and raised in Melbourne, FL graduating from Eau Gallie High School. She has been a hygienist for over 26 years in the same office and has had the pleasure of treating multi-generations of the same family. She loves to make a difference in her patient's lives by helping them improve their oral health. Patient's really appreciate her calming and gentle touch during their appointments. Nina enjoys hiking, camping, exercising, and spending time with her family.
Cristina - Certified Registered Dental Hygienist
Cristina is originally from Brazil where she was a practicing prosthodontist for 14 years. She then moved to the US with her family in June 2022. She enjoys reading and learning new innovations in dentistry. Cristina likes to make people feel happy around her and loves making patient's feel more comfortable during their appointment. She enjoys live music, culinary cooking, and spending time with her family.
Amanda - Certified Dental Assistant
Amanda is originally from New York and moved to FL in 1996. She joined our team in 2018 right after graduating dental assisting school. Upon meeting Amanda, we knew she was the perfect fit for our office. She brings laughter to our patients. They love her kind and gentle demeanor, which is perfect for being a dental assistant. Amanda finds joy in getting a nervous patient through their procedure. Amanda loves spending time with her family, watching movies, and cooking.
Midori - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Midori was born and raised in Japan. She moved to Florida in 2020 and graduated from EFSC in 2023 as a dental assistant. Midori enjoys helping nervous patients feel more comfortable and her attention to detail makes her an excellent dental assistant. In her free time, she loves boating, fishing, and her dog, Lotta.
Abnoub - Sterilization Technician
Born in California and raised in a family with roots in Cairo, Egypt, Abnoub moved to Palm Bay in 2013. While attending the University of South Florida, he had the opportunity to shadow a dentist—an experience that sparked his passion for dentistry. He is currently awaiting acceptance into dental school for 2026 and is excited to continue his journey in the dental field. Out of the office, Abnoub enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, gaming, and spending quality time with his family and his dog, Roxy.
